806 rescued, 20 killed due to landslides and incessant rains
Twenty - one houses have been inundated due to the floods.
At least 20 people have been killed in floods and landslides in different parts of the country due to incessant rains. The deceased have been identified as 13 men, 4 women, 2 boys and 1 girl. Of them, 5 are in Sindhupalchowk, 3 in Doti, 1 each in Saptari, Kavre, Gorkha, Kaski, Arghakhanchi, Palpa, Pyuthan, Jumla, Kalikot, Bajhang, Panchthar and Bajura. Of them, 14 are men, 5 are women and 2 are children.
A total of 3,258 people from 748 households have been displaced and 630 animals have died, according to police. Twenty-one houses have been inundated due to the floods. Two hundred and six houses, 12 cowsheds, 18 bridges, three schools and eight government offices were damaged.
